Join me for an existential cup of coffee!

My name is Runbir Serkepkani, originally from Iraqi Kurdistan, presently living in Sweden as the AMS Program Support Coordinator. I am known to frequent cafes in Linköping in the mornings while doing the administrative part of my CPT work. All the cafe employees know that I drink double espresso. Sometimes with a cardamom bun, sometimes without. I have been called an “espresso snob” far more times than my psychological stamina can tolerate. I would still rather get occasional shaky hands or lay with a caffeinated heart clapping at 2 am than stop this wonderful experience of smelling my double espresso in the morning and taking that first magical sip.

Come and join me for an existential cup of coffee with or without a cardamom bun. Let’s enjoy each other’s conversation while withstanding that anti-espresso propaganda together!

We can talk about philosophy, the state of the world, the origin of everything, high and low speculation about what is unfolding or what lies in front of us. I am sure we will wade in deep waters, get our fingers stung by the thorns of the blackberry bush while picking the fruits of wisdom. And we will most certainly laugh. I also promise that we won’t consume so much coffee as to get jazz hands or destroy the rhythm of our heartbeats too much.
