Group Take To the Streets Training: Protests and Police intervention in the US and Canadian context

Description

CPT has brought together our collective experience to create a three-hour online training on protests and police intervention designed for groups of up to 20 participants. This training is highly interactive. We will share our knowledge, tips, and tactics and then lead the group through exercises to create strategies to be carried into the streets as we work together towards justice. This workshop covers De-escalation, Participating in a protest, armed and violent presence and Self Care strategies.

This training is offered online or in-person.  Online training is fully covered when purchasing this item. In-person training will have an additional travel and accommodation cost from either Toronto, Canada or Iowa, USA.
