Tarteel from the team recalls, “I remember my mom talking to my Aunt in Jordan on the phone while making lunch because it is almost impossible for her to be with us in person and join us in Palestine. They usually check up on each other and update one another on how their children are doing and what’s happening with other relatives.”

For similar reasons, many of you cannot join us in person but can join us virtually. So let’s meet, cook together, and share the history of our meals. We can share personal stories and update you on things you would like to know. We can also discuss undoing oppression within our communities while having a great time.
